When we left off exactly one month ago, we had just completed the foundation. After a productive April dodging rain drops, working through (minor) design issues, and mastering the store layout of Lowes Home Improvement, we have the bones of two units to show for it...

But lets back up a bit... Led by superb supervision from Operation Northern Comfort and with the muscle from the same STELLAR group from SUNY-ESF that spent their spring break with us, we had a good old fashioned barn raising...

Thanks to connections through our partners at Operation Northern Comfort, there was plenty of media presence on day one. Seemed like more cameras than hammers... Few of the stories can be seen here, here, and here.

We've got the foundation. We've got the frame. Next up is the mechanicals, or as I'd prefer to call em, the guts. The plumbing, electricity, and HVAC. Afraid we need to call in the pros... Thanks for reading all and very much looking forward to the next update.
