It is hard to believe that only several weeks ago, we celebrated the grand opening of the first two homes on Rose Ave. Now, we are on our way to completing three new tiny homes in Syracuse's Valley Neighborhood.
Thanks to a generous donation by the national advertising firm, Lamar Advertising, we acquired a beautiful property for these new homes. The property is on a corner lot, close to a grocery store, laundry mat, public transportation and a library.
We've been working with Hayner-Hoyt Construction Company, who has been with us every step of the way. They are committed to our mission and collaborating with the community to complete these homes.
Over the past several weeks, we've been busy pouring foundations and raising the walls. Check out these before and after photos as we completed the foundations:
Just last week, the walls went up on all three units. Framing up the homes is an exciting reminder that we are that much closer to welcoming new residents...
We're excited to share the progress we've made over the past few months and thankful to everyone who has contributed to the process. We look forward to opening up the doors and welcoming three new individuals facing homelessness. Be sure to follow us on our website and social media pages for news about our next ribbon cutting ceremony.
